Tschermigite is an extremely rare mineral that has a chemical composition largely composed of aluminum, which further contains ammonia and sulfate. It naturally occurs in very few locations around the world such as near volcanically active regions and other "hot spots". It's formed due to isolated geological conditions, opposed to large reoccurring deposits. Most notably, Tschermigite is found in the Czech Republic, in an area called Cermniky, once called Tshermig, which is where the mineral gets its name. These specimens are lab grown but lose none of their natural beauty.
