Titanacris is a genus of grasshoppers in the subfamily Romaleinae and tribe Tropidacrini. Species are recorded from central and southern America. It typically lives in the canopy of tropical forests and although you can't see it right now, their wings have a beautiful purple hue. Once these impressive specimens are spread, there wings add a splash of color that few insects can match.
