Formed in Madagascar and South Africa, Kambaba Jasper or crocodile jasper, is a sedimentary stone consisting of microcrystalline Quartz and a primordial form of blue-green algae which is believed to existed 3.8 Billion years ago. For a point of reference, our earth is thought to be 4.5 billion years old. The existence of life in the form of this algae is pretty amazing to think about when admiring these stones.
According the metaphysics, Crocodile Jasper is a stone of peace, tranquility, and fertility. It reminds us of the gift of life and our connection to all living things of the present, past & future.
