A note from the artist: "For me, there is special gratification in creating works of meaning for the recipient, regardless of what system of belief is being represented. My skills as a metal worker have been honed over the last 15 years, working both on my own sculpture as well as along side many talented artists as well as industrial trade school, where I learned more technical aspects of metal working. I also attended art school at CCA in Oakland and San Francisco State where I earned my BA in art education."
