We’re pretty excited about these new field-collected specimens! They come from an individual who owns what used to be farmland. After many long walks across the property, this person acquired a substantial collection of farm animal skulls and bones. There’s something uniquely special about bones that have been naturally picked clean and preserved by the elements.

Horses have long been iconic symbols of the American West, embodying freedom, resilience, and the spirit of adventure. From the rugged mustangs that roam the open plains to the ranch horses that assist cowboys in herding cattle, horses are deeply intertwined with the history and culture of this vast, untamed region. 

These horse skulls are missing their lower jaws but they still make for a really interesting piece to add to your own collection.
