"A Thousand Bones" was my intro to P. J. Parrish's books. I loved it several years ago, lent the book, it disappeared, so I'm reading it again on Kindle. I think it's a well-balanced book, doesn't leave loose ends, moves quickly but doesn't leave the reader behind. Parrish's Louis Kincaid and Joe Frye are always portrayed as very human - enough flaws and self-doubt to be believable. Research is always good. My favorite author(s) by far.
