The Campo del Cielo is a famous iron meteorite that fell in northern Argentina about 4,000–5,000 years ago. Its name means "Field of the Sky." Composed mostly of iron and nickel, it’s one of the largest meteorite falls ever discovered, with over 100 tons recovered.
