Along with being absolutely beautiful, bismuth formations were one of the leading inspirations of Magic The Gathering's giant, world ending monsters know as the Eldrazi. Bismuth, also known as BI, has an atomic number of 31 and is classified as a poor metal on the periodic table of elements. It is often found in its native state as a brittle metal with an iridescent oxide tarnish, exhibiting dazzling colors from yellow to blue. This particular sample was grown in a lab at a temperature of 520 degrees Fahrenheit and has a trigonal (or rhombohedral) crystal structure. These specimens are renowned for their vibrant and diverse colors, ranging from the rainbow to iridescent blues and purples.

According to metaphysics: Bismuth is believed to be an element that stimulates energy, vitality, and can aid in achieving goals, especially when collaborating as a team. It may also be used to facilitate transformation by assisting with travel between the physical plane and the realms of astral and spirit. Additionally, it is thought to enhance visualization during shamanic journeying and can potentially alleviate feelings of overwhelm, isolation, and loneliness
