Evan and Caitlin Chambers lost their home and all of their possessions to the Eaton Fire in Altadena. They were able to evacuate with their small children, Edie and John, and their three dogs, but had to leave everything else behind - their clothes, their tools, and anything that provides any sort of comfort or sense of normal. They also lost the home studio that they built over the last three years. If you know Evan and Caitlin, you know how important that is to their livelihood.

About his work: 

Pendant spun copper and nickel, hand blown glass and unique in every aspect; Evan Chambers creates each of his pieces wholly himself. This means even the set runs of the same lamp will vary slightly making yours a truly one-of-a-kind piece. These lit sculptures radiate with nautical beauty and droll detail.

This Octo Pod is 12" tall and 9" across with a fabricated copper body, cast bronze tentacles, and clear blown glass.

The design is part of an ongoing collection, and stamped with an edition number. Each handmade piece has individual, unique characteristics, as made by a human.
