The shell features elongated, curved spines or "fingers" that extend from the outer lip, resembling the legs of a millipede or spider. Its coloration varies, typically displaying shades of brown, orange, and cream, with intricate patterns and a glossy surface.
Found in the Indo-Pacific region, the Millepede Spider Shell inhabits sandy and muddy substrates, often near coral reefs and in shallow lagoons. These snails are herbivorous, primarily feeding on algae and detritus.
