Gary Hoey's individualistic vocals are a treat for the ears and the slide guitar plays pretty much a starring role along side him in this fantastic album. "Boxcar Blues" is a joyride alright! I just loved the chorus line...very addictive! "Who's Your Daddy" is a frolicking number so utterly charming, one just had to listen to this track again and again....this sparkling song is helped along with a superb drum groove...loved it! Hoey's voice is fantastic in "Born to Love You", the guitar hook-line is highly addictive :-). "Dust & Bones" is a brilliant song with great lyrics and melody...Gary Hoey is clearly at his best here. "Steamroller (tribute to Johnny Winter)" has a magnificently imaginative rolling groove sounding like a train and the guitar imitating its whistle....superb! Another track that caught my fancy is "Coming Home(feat. Lita Ford)" with its slower pace and the vocal prowess of Hoey and Ford, it is brilliantly matched :-). There are 2 bonus tracks here that are worth mentioning....."Boston Strong"...what lovely slide guitar that is evocative and heartfelt; and "Amazing Grace" that is such a marvelous rendition, it made me cry! Gary Hoey has a magnificent production here that is all heart and soul :-) :-) :-)
