I received this and attempted to wait until the next evening, so as to view it with a friend, but couldn't wait. Most shown on here were right at, or close to the time of my 'runnin' years - the same time period. Most of these performances were extremely well picked - very good choices.I'd seen BB King a couple of time's back then, but never seen him perform like this one on here...totally, absolutely outstanding. For me, that stold the show. The Stone's - how adequate that this particular Midnight Rambler was included on this - fits right in with the title Hoodoo Bones. My only disappointments were James Brown (hey, just a personal preference here) and Hendricks. For Brown, extremely good, and certainly showed his talent, agility and so forth, but thought a different choice of songs would've been better?...a slower, more 'soulful' one, which he did well.Hendricks: Voodoo Child would've fit in just perfectly, and still showed his excellent guitar work. The Doors?....maybe a different one - many filmed performances out there. But, gettin nitpicky now.Ah, one HUGE disappointment was Ball + Chain. It's so damn poor, it looks as though it's a copy of a copy of a copy. Though THE classic performance of hers, from the Monterey Festival, the visual is horrible - dismal !!In all, I'm very satisfied and glad to have purchased it, one gets the opportunity to see these people as their best (or greatest). One thing though...most look so damn YOUNG! Makes me realize all the more, as to just how many year's have passed since then, and how old I've become.
